Crown Prince of Bahrain Meets GCC Delegation Leaders at Gudaibiya Palace

Gudaibiya:Gudaibiya Palace: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, met with the heads of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) delegations at Gudaibiya Palace.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting involved discussions with leaders participating in the 22nd meeting of the Committee of Ministers and Heads of Civil Service Agencies of the GCC, as well as the 12th meetings of the GCC Ministers of Labour and the Committee of Ministers of Social Affairs and Development. Also in attendance was His Excellency Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary General of the GCC.

His Royal Highness emphasized Bahrain's commitment, under King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's leadership, to bolster efforts that strengthen GCC cooperation for the benefit of member states and their peoples. He noted the achievements in various sectors as a testament to the strong ties among GCC members and the need to create new opportunities for cooperation and coordination.

The heads of delegations conveyed greetings from the leaders of the GCC States to King Hamad and Prince Salman, who reciprocated with greetings from Bahrain's leadership to the GCC leaders. The Crown Prince highlighted the importance of these meetings in advancing GCC partnerships and joint initiatives to foster progress across the region.

Prince Salman stressed the need for continued development in labour, social development, and civil service fields, advocating for the exchange of expertise among GCC members to implement effective programs and initiatives. His Royal Highness also reaffirmed Bahrain's commitment to enhancing its labour market and social development systems to support sustainable development across the GCC.

The delegation leaders expressed gratitude for Prince Salman's dedication to strengthening GCC cooperation and wished Bahrain continued success and prosperity. The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, and other senior officials. Bahrain hosted these GCC meetings as part of its presidency of the 46th Session of the Supreme Council of the GCC, known as the "Bahrain Summit."
