Manama:Exhibition World Bahrain: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, launched the Made in GCC Forum and Exhibition 2026 on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Prince Salman emphasized Bahrain's commitment to strengthening GCC integration and cooperation, aligning with the national visions and aspirations of its leaders. He highlighted the importance of GCC industrial integration in fostering multilateral cooperation, enhancing competitiveness, and boosting economic contributions.
Prince Salman also addressed the need for GCC industries to adapt to regional and international challenges, focusing on sustainable growth and prosperity. He underscored the significance of innovation and advanced production capabilities in developing competitive GCC industrial products.
During the event, the Crown Prince attended a panel discussion with Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi Minister of Energy and Industry, and Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Minister of Finance. The discussion covered the future of industry and energy in the GCC, emphasizing innovation, technology, and sustainability.
Prince Salman inaugurated the accompanying exhibition, which showcased GCC industrial products and initiatives in smart and sustainable manufacturing. The event brought together various stakeholders, including governments, manufacturers, and investors, to foster industrial integration and create global market opportunities for GCC products.
Minister of Industry and Commerce, Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, expressed gratitude for the royal patronage, noting the platform's role in transforming integration opportunities into tangible projects and investments.
