According to Bahrain News Agency, the Cabinet celebrated the silver jubilee of the Supreme Council for Women, recognizing the contributions of Bahraini women to the Kingdom's development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The ongoing support of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa was also highlighted.
The success of Youth City 2030 was acknowledged, with commendations directed towards His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for their roles in advancing youth and sports sectors. The Cabinet also extended congratulations to His Majesty the King on the anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed's birth.
The meeting reviewed the discussions between His Majesty the King and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focusing on bilateral relations and cooperation. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Education to organize an induction day for parents and guardians, and to ensure necessary preparations for the academic year.
Progress on investigating the Al Ramli residential fire was reviewed, with the Cabinet expressing condolences to the victims' families. Safety compliance in residential buildings was emphasized.
Several memorandums were approved, including draft laws to enhance development initiatives, a Free Trade Agreement with Pakistan, and memorandums of understanding with Romania, Bahrain Polytechnic, and the University of Buraimi.
The Cabinet reviewed the draft agenda for the GCC Ministerial Council's 168th session, outcomes from Bahrain's participation in various international forums, and Youth City 2030's achievements. Ministerial reports on international engagements, including emergency UN Security Council sessions and visits by foreign ministers, were also discussed.
