Council of Representatives Commend Royal Directives on Housing and Employment

Manama: The Bureau of the Council of Representatives held a meeting chaired by Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, to review the agenda for the upcoming sessions and matters of parliamentary interest. The meeting commended the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aimed at creating quality opportunities for Bahraini citizens across various sectors, developing housing programmes and services, and expanding available options to strengthen social stability and provide adequate housing for Bahraini families.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting welcomed HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's guidance to reduce the maximum monthly instalments for beneficiaries of the "Mazaya" programme by increasing government financial support and instructing the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to diversify housing options to meet citizens' aspirations.

They also expressed appreciation for the national efforts and community partnership in implementing HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's directive to the Ministry of Labour, requiring the offering of three job opportunities to every registered jobseeker before the end of the year. It highlighted the private sector's notable cooperation in supporting employment initiatives, housing services, and developmental projects.
