Manama: Eleven civilians were injured in Najran following attacks carried out by the Houthi militia, the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen announced.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Coalition spokesperson Major General Turki Al Malki reported that the injured included seven Saudi nationals, among them a woman and a four-year-old child who sustained second-degree burns. Additionally, one Yemeni national, two Egyptian, and one Pakistani expatriate were among the injured.
Al Malki indicated that the attacks involved indiscriminate shelling targeting civilian objects, describing them as a violation of international humanitarian law, as they deliberately targeted civilians and civilian infrastructure.
He stated that the Coalition's Joint Forces Command will continue to take all necessary measures to protect civilians against such attacks.
