Riffa: The Ministry of Works has announced a significant traffic alteration on Wali Al Ahd Highway at Riffa, necessitating the closure of the slow lane between Military Hospital Junction and Riffa Clock Roundabout. This change is part of a project for laying electrical cables for the Electricity and Water Authority, and two lanes will remain open for traffic movement.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the closure will be in effect during weekdays from 06:00 PM to 05:30 AM. On Fridays, the closure will extend for 24 continuous hours. This arrangement will last for two and a half months, commencing on Friday, September 18, 2026. Authorities have urged all road users to adhere to traffic regulations to ensure everyone's safety.
