According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Wang Yi affirmed China's readiness to collaborate with the international community to bolster security and stability in Syria. He stated that China maintains a friendly policy towards the Syrian people, respecting their independent choices. Wang Yi welcomed Syria's involvement in the Belt and Road Initiative and emphasized the importance of cooperation within multilateral frameworks such as the United Nations and the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum.
Minister Al Shaibani expressed Syria's gratitude for China's significant initiatives and conveyed Syria's willingness to learn from China's experience. He reiterated Syria's active participation in the Belt and Road Initiative and appreciated China's support at the United Nations, affirming Syria's commitment to enhancing communication and cooperation at the multilateral level.
