Manama: Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police, welcomed Kashif Chaudhry, Deputy Director and Head of Middle East Defence and Security Policy at the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom, for a strategic meeting focused on enhancing security collaborations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Brigadier Mohammed Abdullah Al Haram, Assistant Chief of Police for Operations and Training, was also in attendance at the meeting. The Chief of Police emphasized the strong and enduring ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, highlighting the progressive developments in their bilateral relations.
During the discussions, Lieutenant General Al Hassan stressed the significance of boosting security coordination and sharing expertise to tackle regional challenges and bolster security and stability. The meeting aimed to further solidify the cooperative framework between the two nations in addressing mutual security concerns.
Kashif Chaudhry, representing the UK Ministry of Defence, praised the robust cooperation with Bahrain's Ministry of Interior and reaffirmed the United Kingdom's commitment to enhancing their security partnership and expertise exchange. This engagement underscores the dedication of both countries to maintaining and strengthening their collaborative efforts in the realm of defence and security.
