Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has announced that the latest monthly issuance of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities has seen a significant oversubscription rate of 169%. The securities, valued at BD 50 million, received subscriptions totaling BD 84.473 million.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the current issue of Sukuk Al-Salam, which is set to commence on December 10 and will mature on March 11, 2026, carries an expected return of 4.90%. This marks a slight decrease in the return rate from the previous issue on November 12, which offered a return of 5.01%.
The Sukuk Al-Salam are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This issuance is recognized as issue No.296 (BH0005193139) in the short-term Sukuk Al-Salam series.
