BRAVE CF Announces 2025 Rising Fighter Award Nominees

Manama: BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF), the world's fastest-growing mixed martial arts organisation, revealed the nominees for the 2025 Rising Fighter award, highlighting four fighters who drew global attention with strong performances during the season.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Indian fighter Owais Yaqoob emerged strongly with a first-round TKO victory over Filipino Ian Paul Lora at BRAVE CF 98, followed by a dominant win against Turkish fighter Mehmet Can Tasdoven at BRAVE CF 103. Meanwhile, Youssef "The Destroyer" Boughanem maintained his undefeated record with notable victories, including a second-round stoppage of Demetris Moirtsos at BRAVE CF 94 and a first-round knee finish against Anthony Zidan at BRAVE CF 101.

English strawweight fighter Mim Grubb secured consistent performances, opening the year with a unanimous decision win over Songul Karatorak at BRAVE CF 97 and a victory over former Brazilian Shooto champion Fabiola Nascimento at BRAVE CF 100. Pakistani fighter Ismail "Volcano" Khan delivered exceptional performances, submitting Azerbaijani Elmir Jafarov in under one round at BRAVE CF: Georgia vs. The World and later finishing Kyrgyz fighter Raimbek Tazgibayev with a second-round triangle choke at BRAVE CF 103.

BRAVE CF confirmed that the success of these fighters came through decisive bouts, impactful finishes, and convincing victories inside the cage.
