Sakhir: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), known as 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East', is gearing up to host a new edition of the Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Drag and Drift Nights on December 22. This event will take place at the Sakhir circuit, inviting speed and motorsport enthusiasts to participate.
According to Bahrain News Agency, participants are encouraged to bring their own cars or motorbikes to engage in the drag racing sessions on BIC's renowned quarter-mile strip. This offers a genuine experience for those passionate about speed and competition.
Simultaneously, the circuit's car parks will be the venue for drift sessions. Participants will have the chance to test their skills in controlling vehicles through sharp corners and set barriers, showcasing their drifting prowess.
BIC provides the flexibility for participants to indulge in either or both activities during the evening. The fee for participating in both activities is set at BD11, while engaging in just one costs BD8.
Event registration will be conducted at the circuit car parks, with the event scheduled to run from 5pm to 11pm. All vehicles will be required to pass a mandatory safety inspection before gaining access to the track.
For those who wish to join as passengers, there is an additional fee of BD4.500. Spectators can enjoy watching the event for a fee of BD2.
