Manama: The Royal Medical Services (RMS) has announced that both the BDF Hospital and the King Hamad University Hospital have been awarded the Diamond Accreditation by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), underscoring their commitment to the highest standards of healthcare quality and excellence. Ceremonies were held at both hospitals to commemorate the achievement and honour the medical and administrative teams involved.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Brigadier General Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of RMS, described the accreditation as a testament to ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services and strengthen public confidence. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, CEO of NHRA, commended the hospitals for adopting global best practices, while Brigadier General Dr. Mohammed Ahmed, Technical Assistant at CRMS and Acting Director of the BDF Hospital, and Colonel Dr. Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Commander of King Hamad University Hospital, highlighted the accreditation as recognition of sustained commitment to quality, patient safety, and professional excellence.
