Manama: Batelco by Beyon has entered into a strategic partnership with Procural, a Bahrain-based e-procurement platform, to accelerate the digital transformation of its procurement operations. This collaboration aims to integrate Procural's cloud-based sourcing and tendering solution to improve operational efficiency, reinforce transparency and governance, and optimize the procurement process.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the integration of the platform is set to support a more efficient and transparent procurement process. It aims to bolster governance and expand opportunities for suppliers, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to engage in Batelco's procurement activities.
Haitham Al Balooshi, Chief Financial Officer at Batelco by Beyon, stated that the partnership underscores the company's commitment to continuously enhancing its operational processes. He emphasized that the adoption of advanced e-procurement solutions will improve operational efficiency while ensuring a straightforward and transparent procurement experience for suppliers.
Fahad Abdulrahman, Co-Founder and Director at Procural, expressed enthusiasm about integrating their technology into Batelco's procurement operations. He highlighted that this will help simplify sourcing and tendering, strengthen supplier engagement, and support more agile procurement decisions. Additionally, it will provide local companies and suppliers with broader access to grow their businesses and secure new opportunities.
