Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, congratulated Rashid Nabeel Al Hamer on his election to the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ). This election marks a significant milestone for Bahrain, showcasing the Kingdom's active role in both regional and international journalism and media circles.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the election took place during the IFJ Centenary World Congress in Paris. The minister emphasized that this achievement aligns with Bahrain's celebration of Bahraini Press Day, underscoring the professional progress of the Bahraini press. This progress has been supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which has helped Bahraini journalists gain recognition on broader platforms.
Dr. Al Noaimi also pointed out the extensive backing Bahrain received from Arab and international journalism and media organizations during the congress. This support highlights the ongoing efforts of the Bahrain Journalists Association, led by Isa Al Shaiji, to enhance Bahrain's participation in international media forums and expand its professional networks.
The minister extended his congratulations to Rashid Al Hamer, expressing his hopes for Al Hamer's continued success in promoting Bahraini journalism and supporting its contributions to the Kingdom's development narrative.
