Bahrain’s Leadership Engages in Diplomatic Outreach and Celebrates National Achievements

MANAMA: Bahraini newspapers today highlighted the nation's diplomatic activities and recent achievements, reflecting the leadership's active engagement on the international stage and at home. Key events include congratulations exchanged between Bahrain's leaders and global counterparts, and the country's advancement in regional sports competitions.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa extended congratulations to the President of Cuba and the Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council. These gestures signify Bahrain's commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties. Additionally, the King expressed gratitude towards the family of the late Dr. Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari and exchanged New Year greetings with world leaders. In a legislative move, the King issued Law (14) of 2024, further solidifying his leadership role.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, also played an active role in diplomacy, sending congratulatory messages to the leaders of Cuba and Sudan. He further exchanged New Year wishes with international leaders, demonstrating Bahrain's collaborative spirit on the global stage.

The Kingdom celebrated a significant sports achievement as Bahrain advanced to the Gulf Cup final after a victory against Kuwait. The win was commended by His Majesty King Hamad, highlighting the nation's pride in its sporting prowess.

In domestic developments, the Global Women Economic Forum, under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim, is set to be held in January, emphasizing Bahrain's commitment to empowering women economically. Meanwhile, the national awareness campaign 'Himaya' concluded, marking a milestone in raising public consciousness on key issues.

In other governmental actions, the Deputy Prime Minister issued Edict (66) of 2024, and Bahrain's Foreign Minister offered condolences on the passing of a former Indian Prime Minister, showcasing Bahrain's attentiveness to international relations and internal governance.
