Bahrain’s Leadership Engages in Diplomatic and Development Initiatives

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King delivered a speech marking the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, highlighting Bahrain's commitment to international cooperation. In a gesture of diplomatic goodwill, HM King also extended congratulations to the President of Iceland.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was actively involved in several key meetings, including chairing the weekly Cabinet Meeting and visiting the Situation Room at the Prime Minister's Office. He also held discussions with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council. Additionally, HRH met with a congressional delegation from the USA and extended congratulations to the President of Iceland.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad played a role in cultural and media engagements by honoring the recipients of the Al Dana Drama Awards 2025 and meeting with MBC1, MBC Drama Director, and SVOD Content at MBC Group.

The Foreign Minister participated in the 48th GCC Ministerial Council meeting and received a delegation from the US Congress, further strengthening Bahrain's international ties. The Interior Ministry announced the activation of warning sirens across the country, emphasizing national security measures.

In economic development, the Industry Minister held a meeting with food sector representatives, while the Youth Minister visited the Al Qaryah Empowerment Centre to support community initiatives. The Oil Minister received the US Ambassador, highlighting ongoing diplomatic relations.

In the aviation sector, Bahrain Airport Company signed Memorandums of Understanding with Texel Air and Valo Aviation at the Paris Airshow 2025, signaling Bahrain's commitment to expanding its aviation industry.
