Bahrain’s King and Crown Prince Engage in Diplomatic and Governmental Activities

Manama:The King of Bahrain recently received the credentials of five new ambassadors and met with the British Land Forces Commander. Additionally, he issued two new decrees, numbered 51 and 52 of 2026, and sent congratulations to the President of Botswana.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain met with the Chairman of GFH Financial Group and also held discussions with the UK Land Forces Commander. He issued Edicts 50 and 51 of 2026 and congratulated both the King and the Head of Government of Morocco.

Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim chaired the second meeting of the Supreme Council for Women. Meanwhile, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad and Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad congratulated the King and the Crown Prince on the national handball team's gold medal at the Asian Games. The National Guard Commander also extended his congratulations for the same achievement.

The Deputy Prime Minister inaugurated the Innovation Summit in the Social Housing Sector 2026 and met with senior GCC officials attending the event. The Interior Minister welcomed heads of delegations for a GCC ministerial meeting, while the Defence Affairs Minister and Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad both received the British Land Forces Commander.

The Housing Minister met with the UN-Habitat Regional Programmes Division Director, and the Oil Minister praised the creation of an Environmental and Public Health Crimes Unit. Lastly, the Central Bank of Bahrain's Governor attended a meeting of Arab central banks and monetary authorities in Abu Dhabi.
