Cairo:Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, Bahrain's Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, participated in the 91st meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting addressed numerous agenda items and initiatives focused on promoting joint Arab efforts. Key topics included the implementation of the Arab Strategy for Housing and Sustainable Urban Development, collaboration with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), and sharing Arab expertise in social housing and informal settlement development.
Further discussions explored enhancing urban resilience to disaster risks, supporting Arab nations in reconstruction and recovery efforts, offering technical assistance to countries affected by crises and disasters, and bolstering training, capacity-building, and the exchange of expertise in urban planning and sustainable construction.
