Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours. HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister met with several key figures, including the Commander of the US Central Command and the Director General and Chief Executive of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). In addition, HRH held a meeting with award-winning Bahraini architects.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King deputised the National Guard Commander to attend the closing ceremony of the shooting and military marathon championships. In diplomatic developments, the Foreign Minister received copies of credentials from the newly appointed US Ambassador and also met with the Director General and Chief Executive of IISS.
The SCH Chairman inaugurated the first Bahrain Thoracic Conference, marking a significant event in the country's medical field. Other notable activities included the Secretary General of the Representatives' Council emphasizing efforts to reinforce national identity. Additionally, the University of Bahrain's Board of Trustees held a regular meeting, and the Education Minister received a delegation from Boston University.
