Bahraini Leadership Engages in Strategic Meetings and International Initiatives

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King of Bahrain extended congratulations to the President of the Czech Republic. Meanwhile, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister chaired the weekly Cabinet Meeting, engaging in discussions with key figures including the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council.

His Royal Highness also met with the Minister of State and a Member of the Council of Ministers from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, highlighting the significance of regional cooperation. In related diplomatic efforts, the Minister of the Prime Minister's Court received the Saudi Minister of State, emphasizing ongoing bilateral relations.

On the sports front, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad actively participated in the Asian Youth Games, attending events like camel racing, weightlifting, boxing, table tennis, and e-sports. He lauded the successful conduct of the games, reflecting Bahrain's commitment to youth and sports development.

In the realm of international diplomacy, Bahrain's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia took part in the Global Alliance for Implementation of Two-State Solution, underlining Bahrain's engagement in global peace efforts. Domestically, the Interior Minister inaugurated a joint International Security Alliance exercise and stated that investigations are ongoing in the case of a missing citizen at sea.

Housing and economic reforms were also highlighted, with the Housing Minister announcing online applications for Tamooh and a reduction in the lower Mazaya instalment limit. This initiative was commended by both the Shura Chairman and the Speaker, reflecting the government's commitment to expanding housing options.
