Jakarta:Bahraini newspapers today highlighted a range of diplomatic and regional activities involving the country's leadership over the past 24 hours.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King received gratitude from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Saudi Crown Prince for his congratulations on Saudi Arabia's National Day. Meanwhile, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister engaged with various Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) delegations in Bahrain.
The Crown Prince also held meetings with the Supreme Head of the Indian Orthodox Church and Eduardo Bolsonaro. Additionally, HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim extended congratulations to HH Shaikha Zain bint Khalid on her GCC recognition.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman attended the FinTech Forward 2026 Forum, while the Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged exceptional GCC individuals, institutions, and projects. Furthermore, the Speaker and the Shura Chairman both expressed congratulations to the Jordanian Senate President on his royal reappointment.
Security and economic discussions were also a focus, with the Interior Minister and his Saudi counterpart chairing the fifth Security Coordination Committee meeting. The Finance Minister and the Saudi counterpart co-chaired a meeting under the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, concentrating on economy, energy, trade, and industry.
