Bahrain Wins 24 Medals in 6th West Asian Bodybuilding Championship

Manama: Bahrain claimed third place overall in the 6th West Asian Bodybuilding Championship, organized by the Bahrain Bodybuilding Federation (BBF) with the participation of 230 athletes representing seven countries. The United Arab Emirates secured first place, while Oman came second.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain's athletes earned a total of 24 medals, including 12 gold, 7 silver, and 5 bronze. The gold medals were won by Mohammed Abduljaleel in Master Physique and Physique 179cm, Khalid Al Saeedi in Physique 176cm and as Overall Champion, Abdulrahman Al Bastaki in Physique 182cm, Ahmed Hubail in Classic Physique 180cm and as Overall Champion, Abdullah Al Burshaid in Classic Bodybuilding 168cm, Ali Ebrahim in Junior Bodybuilding, Sayed Hadi Hashem in Bodybuilding 70 kg, and Khaled Jassim in Bodybuilding 75 kg and as Overall Champion.

Silver medals were awarded to Omar Janahi in Physique 171 cm, Abdulla Isa in Physique 173 cm, Mohammed Bukhalaf in Classic Physique 175 cm and Classic Bodybuilding 175 cm, Salman Al Thawadi in Classic Bodybuilding 168 cm, and Mohammed Abdulameer Marhoon in Bodybuilding 80 kg.

Bronze medals were achieved by Abdullah Isa in Master Physique, Mohammed Jameel in Classic Physique 175 cm, Hassan Al Ruwaie in Classic Bodybuilding 171 cm, Mohammed Ali in Classic Bodybuilding 180 cm, and Mohammed Naji in Bodybuilding 85 kg.

Sami Al Hadded, President of BBF, expressed pride in the participation recorded in the sixth edition of the West Asian Championship and commended the level of competition. He affirmed that bodybuilding in Bahrain is progressing in the right direction, witnessing growth in both technical performance and participation.
