Manama:The fourth edition of Gateway Gulf will be hosted in Bahrain from November 1-2 at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay. The event will bring together ministers, senior government officials, chief executives, and business leaders from various regions including the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB) is organizing this invitation-only forum under the theme "Reimagining Global Partnerships, Powering Sustainable Growth." The discussions will focus on how global dynamics are influencing investment, innovation, and economic cooperation across borders.
Key topics will include the effects of geopolitical developments, energy transitions, technological advancements, and the formation of strategic partnerships. The forum will explore the role of the GCC economy, which exceeds $2.38 trillion, in attracting capital, talent, and innovation through infrastructure investment and economic diversification.
Bahrain, serving as a gateway to the region, offers a connected business environment with a diversified economy where non-oil sectors make up 86% of GDP. This provides businesses and investors with opportunities for regional expansion. The two-day event will host 200 senior decision-makers and representatives from Bahrain's public and private sectors for discussions, networking, and investment showcases.
The program will cover global capital flows, economic connectivity, the GCC's contribution to global growth, and emerging competitive industries. It will also address the development of the intelligence economy and strategies for strengthening economic resilience and cooperation.
Previous editions of Gateway Gulf have resulted in significant investment announcements and strategic agreements, with the 2025 forum alone generating over $17 billion in transactions and commitments. Notable past speakers have included influential leaders and executives from various sectors worldwide.
