Manama: Bahrain All Share Index and Bahrain Islamic Index both experienced gains as trading closed higher. The Bahrain All Share Index rose to 1,985.16 points, showing an increase of 6.68 points from the previous close.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this increase was driven by gains in the communications services, consumer discretionary, financials, and materials sectors. Meanwhile, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a rise, closing at 959.21 points, which is an increase of 3.36 points from its previous close.
The trading session recorded 46 equity transactions with a trading volume of 5,507,457 shares, amounting to BHD 1,254,458. Investors showed a strong preference for the financial sector, which accounted for 95.87% of the total value of securities traded.
