Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,986.85 points, marking an increase of 3.37 points above the previous closing. This rise was influenced by gains in the financial and real estate sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an increase, closing at 972.07 points with a rise of 1.46 points from the previous closing. The trading session witnessed 160 equity transactions, with a trading volume of 430,743 and a total value of BD 204,394.
Investors showed a preference for the material sector, which represented 42.80% of the total value of securities traded during the session. This focus on the material sector indicates a strategic move by investors amid the prevailing market conditions.
