Manama:Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, extended his congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the success of Bahrain's national volleyball team. The team clinched the title at the 24th Arab Men's Volleyball Championship held in Jordan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Speaker Al Musallam also expressed his congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. He praised the contributions of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who serves as the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, for his support of the national teams.
The Speaker commended the players, technical and administrative staff, and the Bahrain Volleyball Association for their performance. He affirmed the ongoing parliamentary support for Bahraini sports in all areas.
