Bahrain Road Runners Launches New Season with Summer Run Event

Manama: Bahrain Road Runners, affiliated with the Bahrain Athletics Association, held its first sporting event of the 2026/2027 season, organising the three-kilometre 'Summer Run' at Exhibition World Bahrain. The event marked the beginning of a series of races planned for the season.According to Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain Road Runners extended gratitude to Exhibition World Bahrain for hosting the race and assisting in the organisation of the event. This collaboration played a significant role in the smooth execution of the race.The event saw participation from a wide range of male and female runners, showcasing the blend of sporting competition and community involvement. The top finishers in both men's and women's categories were awarded trophies and prizes, marking a successful conclusion to the race.Bahrain Road Runners has announced the opening of registration for its upcoming three-kilometre race, the "Pre-Season Run," which is scheduled for October 2. Further registration details for the remainin g races of the season will be released soon.Bahrain Road Runners also acknowledged the support from governmental and private sector organisations, emphasizing the importance of such partnerships in fostering sport and physical activity across the Kingdom of Bahrain.
