Bahrain Pavilion to Feature at 8th China International Import Expo 2025

Manama: Bahrain Exports announced the organisation of the Bahrain Pavilion at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2025, following the success of its previous two participations. The event will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai from November 5-10.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this participation highlights Bahrain's position as a commercial hub known for its economic diversity and culture. The national pavilion will showcase a variety of sectors, including industry, tourism, services, sustainable products, and food, complemented by cultural displays that reflect Bahrain's identity.

This participation aims to strengthen trade ties between Bahrain and the People's Republic of China and to open new export opportunities for local enterprises in international markets. The pavilion has been designed to combine sectoral displays with interactive cultural experiences, allowing visitors to engage with Bahrain's offerings. In addition, bilateral business meetings will be held to highlight Bahrain's competitive advantages and connect local companies with potential buyers and investors.

Safa Sharif Abdulkhaleq, CEO of Bahrain Exports, said Bahrain's participation in the China International Import Expo aims to build export capacity and promote trade. The Kingdom will showcase its enterprises, forge partnerships with China, strengthen economic ties, expand market access, and create economic benefits to support national growth.

This participation is in collaboration with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Bahrain and supported by strategic partners Gulf Air and the Labour Fund (Tamkeen). It aims to promote national products and services, expand trade relations between the two countries, and provide a platform for engagement with exhibition visitors, opening up opportunities for economic partnerships.

The partnership aligns with Tamkeen's efforts to enhance growth opportunities for private sector enterprises and their access to international markets, particularly through participation in specialised global events.
