Geneva: Jamal Mohamed Fakhro, First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, representing the Kingdom of Bahrain's parliamentary delegation, participated in the Standing Committee on Sustainable Development meeting at the 151st Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Geneva.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the parliamentarians discussed a draft resolution focusing on building a fair and sustainable global economy. The discussions highlighted the role of parliaments in fighting protectionism, cutting tariffs, and stopping corporate tax evasion.
