Bahrain Intercepts Iranian Attacks Amid Regional Tensions

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on local events that happened over the past 24 hours. Bahrain Defence Force General Command successfully intercepted Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain, highlighting ongoing regional tensions.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the incident drew widespread condemnation from neighboring countries and international bodies. The Muslim Council of Elders condemned the renewed Iranian attacks on Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. The Arab League also condemned the attacks on Gulf states, Jordan, and a Saudi oil tanker.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jordan specifically condemned a drone attack on Kuwait's Al Abdali Border Crossing. Meanwhile, Egypt backed the GCC and Jordan's statements, reaffirming its solidarity with Arab states in face of these threats.

In a gesture of unity and support among Arab leaders, HM King of Bahrain congratulated the Tunisian President, and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulated the President of the Republic of Tunisia.
