Ankara: A delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by Ambassador Shaikh Abdulla bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in meetings of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) held in Ankara. The meetings focused on exploring ways to enhance cooperation with NATO and involved discussions on various regional and international developments of shared interest.
According to Bahrain News Agency, on the sidelines of the meetings, Ambassador Shaikh Abdulla bin Ali engaged with NATO officials and representatives of member states to explore areas of cooperation and methods to strengthen the existing partnership between both sides. Additionally, Ambassador Shaikh Abdulla bin Ali was part of a meeting of representatives from the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative countries, which was attended by NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte.
The meetings also saw the presence of Bassam Ahmed Marzooq, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Trkiye.
