Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has announced that Iran is continuing its systematic hostile actions through unlawful attacks targeting civilians in Bahrain. In response, the BDF's air defence systems successfully intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks on Friday, July 24.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the General Command confirmed that all BDF services and units are maintaining the highest levels of readiness and full defensive preparedness to protect the Kingdom. The public has been urged to exercise caution, avoid any unfamiliar or suspicious objects resulting from the remnants of the Iranian attacks, and report them immediately.
Personnel from the Royal Field Engineering Unit are on full alert to safely handle and neutralize such objects, ensuring the safety of all citizens and residents. The General Command emphasized that the deliberate targeting of civilians and private property with missiles and drones is a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
The statement further expressed the General Command's pride in the advanced combat readiness and exceptional vigilance demonstrated by BDF personnel in fulfilling their duty to defend the nation.
