Manama:HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister has officially launched the Made in GCC Forum and Exhibition 2026, marking a significant event in the region's economic calendar.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also held meetings with the heads of delegations participating in the forum, as well as with the Minister of Energy and the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These meetings highlight Bahrain's commitment to fostering regional economic cooperation.
In other developments, the Speaker of the Malaysian Parliament praised Bahrain's successful hosting of the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, underscoring Bahrain's growing reputation for organizing international events.
Looking ahead, Bahrain is set to host the IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians in 2027, further solidifying its status as a key player on the international stage. Meanwhile, a delegation from the Bahrain Parliamentary Division participated in the 218th IPU Governing Council session held in Tanzania.
Bahrain also chaired a meeting of GCC undersecretaries responsible for environmental affairs, demonstrating its leadership in regional environmental initiatives. Additionally, Bahrain made its presence felt at the International Astronautical Congress 2026 in Antalya.
In the field of healthcare, the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) presented two scientific papers at the ISQua International Conference in Ireland, contributing to global discussions on healthcare quality and safety.
