Bahrain Condemns Iran’s Aggressive Drone Attack on Kurdistan Region of Iraq

Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the aggressive Iranian attack targeting the office of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq and the residence of the Director of the Protection Agency in Pirmam, Erbil Governorate, using two drones.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attack as a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability and constitutes a grave violation of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and the principles of good neighbourliness.

The ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's full solidarity with the Republic of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, as well as its support for all efforts to preserve Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity and safeguard the security and stability of the Kurdistan Region, in a manner that contributes to de-escalation and promotes security and stability in the region.
