Bahrain Condemns Iranian Attacks on Kuwaiti Facilities

Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has issued a strong condemnation of the repeated Iranian attacks targeting civilian and vital facilities in the State of Kuwait. These actions have been described as a flagrant violation of Kuwait's sovereignty, security, and stability. Furthermore, the attacks pose a direct threat to the safety of Kuwaiti citizens and residents and constitute a serious breach of international law and the United Nations Charter, in addition to violating United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain praised the readiness and efficiency of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces in intercepting and destroying several hostile drones. The ministry reaffirmed Bahrain's full solidarity with Kuwait and expressed its complete support for all measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its sovereignty, security, stability, and territorial integrity.

The ministry also highlighted the urgent need for an immediate and comprehensive cessation of the unjustified attacks carried out by Iran and its proxies. It emphasized that ending threats to international maritime navigation is crucial for strengthening both regional and international security and stability.
