Bahrain: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate political consultations between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoU was signed remotely by Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Oana ?oiu, Romania's Minister of Foreign Affairs. This agreement sets the framework for regular consultations between the foreign ministries of both countries, aiming to strengthen bilateral ties, exchange perspectives on international issues, and coordinate their positions on matters of shared interest within global institutions and forums.
The consultations outlined in the MoU will include discussions on political, economic, trade, scientific, technological, and cultural issues that are significant to both bilateral and international contexts. Both parties expressed their appreciation for the strong friendship between Bahrain and Romania, emphasizing their mutual dedication to expanding cooperation in areas of common interest.
Shaikha Al Anood bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Acting Chief of European Affairs, was present during the signing of the MoU.
