Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,983.48 points, marking a decrease of 21.91 points below the previous closing. This decrease was attributed to the fall in the communication services sector and material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 970.62 points, marking an increase of 0.22 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 195 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,012,467 worth BD 553,817.
Investors focused their trading activities mainly on the material sector, which represented 65.63% of the total value of securities traded.
