Manama: Bahrain All Share Index and Bahrain Islamic Index both closed lower, with the All Share Index ending at 2,067.00 points, a decrease of 0.09 points from the previous close. The dip in the index was attributed to a downturn in the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a decline, closing at 1,025.47 points, which is 3.63 points lower than its previous closing. The report highlighted that 85 equity transactions were completed, involving a volume of 1,475,035 shares valued at BD 390,537.
The trading activity was predominantly concentrated in the financial sector, which accounted for 65.14% of the total value of securities traded.
