Jeddah: Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), led Bahrain's delegation to the 22nd Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States, held in Jeddah.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the session addressed developments in the Federal Republic of Somalia and discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest. It also focused on enhancing joint Islamic action and coordinating member states' positions on current challenges to support regional security and stability.
Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman reiterated the Kingdom's commitment to promoting Islamic solidarity and joint action in facing challenges, emphasising the OIC's role in uniting efforts, defending just causes, and fostering dialogue and cooperation among member states.
