Manama:His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Order (37) of 2026, renewing the appointment of the Board of Trustees of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity and appointing a new Secretary-General for the award.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Royal Order extends the tenure of the Board of Trustees for an additional year and appoints Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz bin Jaber Al Khalifa as the new Secretary-General. She will serve a four-year term, taking over from the late Ali Abdullah Khalifa.
The Order is effective immediately from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
