Manama:Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, took part in a tree-planting event held in the Council's garden, marking the National Tree Week celebrations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the activity was attended by Jamal Mohammed Fakhro, First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council; Dr. Jihad Abdullah Al-Fadhel, Second Deputy Chairwoman of the Council; members of the Council's Bureau; and the Secretary-General of the Council.
This initiative aligns with the directives issued by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who has designated the third week of October every year as National Tree Week. The aim is to encourage tree planting and promote environmental sustainability throughout the Kingdom.
