It aims to highlight the Gulf as a prime investment destination with its dynamic, business-friendly economies that attract international companies, and to reaffirm Bahrain's strategic position as a gateway to the region.

Gateway Gulf 2026 will operate under the theme "Reimagining Global Partnerships, Powering Sustainable Growth." The event will address how geopolitical and economic changes, developments in the energy sector, and technological advancements are influencing global capital flows and establishing new models of international cooperation.

Prominent speakers from the finance, industry, tourism, technology, and energy sectors will include Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce; Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism of the United Arab Emirates; and Changpeng Zhao, former CEO of Binance, among others.

The forum will also feature private roundtable discussions, bilateral meetings, and showcases of investment opportunities. These tailored interactions aim to help participants address specific investment interests, identify potential partners, and explore opportunities to enter and expand into markets within Bahrain and the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.

Reflecting Bahrain's Team Bahrain approach, Gateway Gulf continues to promote investment, strengthen partnerships, and support sustainable economic growth by uniting public and private sectors. The 2025 edition of the forum resulted in over USD 17 billion in investments, partnerships, and agreements, underscoring its significance in connecting global investors with opportunities in Bahrain and the region.

Bahrain is actively working to diversify its economy and solidify its status as a hub for investment and business in the Gulf, with non-oil activities accounting for approximately 86% of its gross domestic product in 2025.
