Health Ministry Unveils Virtual Genomics Clinic to Enhance Service Quality

Manama:The Ministry of Health has announced the development of its Genetic Counselling Clinic service by introducing a new virtual genomics clinic, aimed at providing remote medical consultations. This initiative is part of the government's broader strategy to enhance service quality and redesign healthcare services, ensuring access to specialized genetic counselling that aligns with the latest medical standards.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the updated service streamlines the process, reducing the completion time from six months to just five days. The enhancements also include a 50% reduction in required documentation, a service-level agreement cut by at least 25%, and a simplified application process limited to four steps. These improvements are designed to optimize existing systems and standardize service information across all channels, thereby improving the overall efficiency and accessibility of the service.
