Bahrain Stock Indices Close Lower Amid Sector Declines

Manama:The Bahrain All Share Index ended the trading session at 1,895.54 points, experiencing a decrease of 3.35 points from the previous close. This decline was largely attributed to downturns in the financials, materials, and real estate sectors.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a decrease, closing at 894.35 points, which is 2.98 points lower than its previous closing level.

Overall, there were 101 equity transactions, involving a total volume of 1,417,848 shares valued at BD 467,389. The financials sector dominated trading activities, accounting for 41.85% of the total value of securities traded.
