Birmingham:The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the United Kingdom took part in the Conservative Party's annual conference, which was held in Birmingham from October 4-7.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Embassy conducted meetings with several key political and parliamentary figures. Discussions focused on Iran's aggressive actions against Bahrain and other regional countries, broader regional and international developments, and ways to enhance the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United Kingdom. Among those met were The Right Honourable Nusrat Ghani, Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons; The Right Honourable Priti Patel, Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs; Ben Obese-Jecty MP, Shadow Minister for Defence Procurement; and several other notable MPs and former ministers.
The Embassy also participated in panel discussions organized by the Conservative Middle East Council and the Global Prosperity Coalition. These discussions addressed regional developments and the freedom of international navigation.
In addition, the Embassy attended a diplomatic reception hosted by The Right Honourable Priti Patel, where political, parliamentary, and diplomatic figures were present.
To strengthen ties with the Bahraini community in the UK, the Embassy hosted a dinner for Bahraini students in Birmingham, encouraging their academic and professional success.
