Bahrain and Mexico Discuss Enhanced Bilateral Cooperation

Washington:Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the Ambassador of Bahrain to Mexico, held a meeting with officials from the Mexican Foreign Ministry to discuss the enhancement of bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ambassador met with María Teresa Mercado, Mexican Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs, and Aníbal Gómez Toledo, Director General for Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Their discussions focused on the ongoing development of bilateral relations and explored avenues for further progress through investment, industrial cooperation, food security, and access to regional markets.

Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa emphasized the potential for industrial cooperation in Bahrain's aluminum sector, which could aid the development of downstream industries.
