Manama:During a meeting with Muneera Nofal Al Doseri, Executive Director of the King Hamad Global Center for Coexistence and Tolerance (KHGC), Madiyar Menilbekov, Ambassador-Designate of Kazakhstan to Bahrain, emphasized the strong relations between the two nations. The Ambassador-Designate is based in Riyadh.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Doseri highlighted the shared commitment of Bahrain and Kazakhstan to enhance cooperation and coordination for mutual interests. She detailed the Center's mission to promote a culture of coexistence and tolerance through various initiatives, including education and interfaith dialogue.
Al Doseri also discussed the King Hamad Award for Coexistence and Tolerance, which seeks to recognize significant contributions to these values internationally. She praised Kazakhstan's efforts in promoting interfaith and intercultural dialogue, notably through its hosting of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
Menilbekov expressed his appreciation for the KHGC's initiatives and the role of Bahrain in fostering religious and cultural understanding. He conveyed his wishes for Bahrain's continued progress and prosperity.
