Isa Town:The Ministry of Education organized a ceremony in Isa Town to celebrate World Teachers' Day, bringing together officials and approximately 700 teachers from both government and private schools.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event was attended by Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, and representatives from the Ministry of Education and the Higher Education Council. The Education Minister expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for their support of the education sector in Bahrain.
Dr. Juma emphasized the importance of World Teachers' Day as an opportunity to acknowledge teachers' ongoing efforts and their pivotal role in shaping future generations. He highlighted teachers' central position in the educational process and the respect they command in society.
During the ceremony, several distinguished teachers were honored for their contributions to enhancing the educational process. This recognition reflects the ministry's dedication to acknowledging educational professionals and motivating them to continue their exceptional work.
Additionally, the Education Minister paid tribute to teachers battling cancer, commending their perseverance in fulfilling their roles. He extended wishes for their recovery and assured them of the ministry's support and assistance.
The event featured an artistic performance titled 'Teachers Shape the Future' and included four songs performed by a school orchestra alongside students from various government schools.
