Accra:Investigations reveal that the co-pilot on flydubai flight FZ1073 attempted to execute a terrorist act, as stated by Counsellor Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, Attorney General of the United Arab Emirates.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the co-pilot initiated his plan during the flight by attacking the captain in the flight deck using a crash axe, in an effort to seize control of the aircraft.
Investigations are ongoing to uncover the complete details and motives behind the incident and to identify any connections. Technical examinations and analyses of both physical and digital evidence are in progress.
The final results will be disclosed once all investigative procedures are finalized.
