Manama:Spot gold fell 0.4% to $4,161.58 an ounce, marking a second consecutive weekly loss with a decline of about 3% for the week. US gold futures for December delivery saw a decrease of 0.3%, settling at $4,191.10.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the market was influenced by a stronger dollar and increased US Treasury yields. Investors are also closely watching US jobs data for insights into the Federal Reserve's monetary policy outlook.
In the precious metals market, spot silver experienced a slight drop of 0.2% to $60.71. Platinum saw a decline of 0.3%, priced at $1,718.80, while palladium increased by 0.6%, reaching $1,177.80.
